ENGR. LAWRENCE ANWASI
Lawrence Anwasi holds a bachelor’s degree with honours in electrical engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a post graduate qualification from Herriot Watt University, Scotland. He joined the Oil and gas industry more than 30 years ago starting initially as a wireline logging engineer with Schlumberger working in North, West and Central Africa and thereafter working as a petrophysicist for Shell in Nigeria and in the Sultanate of Brunei. Lawrence subsequently joined the Malaysian National Petroleum company (PETRONAS) where he spent several years working in Kuala Lumpur supporting projects in both East and Peninsula Malaysia in the early 2000s. Lawrence’s passion has always been Gas and Power with special interest in integrated energy systems and Renewables. Following his passion, Lawrence joined Chevron in 2010 working on the world’s 2 biggest LNG projects (by cost) The Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG projects in Western Australia. Lawrence voluntarily left Chevron in 2014 to play a more active role in the Nigeria and Australia energy space and continues to oversee several projects in both countries
MADAKI OMADACHI AMEH
Madaki Omadachi Ameh holds a Bachelor of Laws LL.B (Hons) degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria in 1988 where he graduated as the best all round student with Second Class Honours (Upper Division), after which he proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos in 1989, where he also graduated with Second Class Honours (Upper Division), and was duly called to the Nigerian Bar in December 1989. He obtained a Masters in Energy Law and Policy with distinction from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP), University of Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom as a British Chevening Scholar in 2006. In the course of his career spanning over 34 years since graduation, he worked in different organizations in the private sector, including top law firms in Nigeria and Brazil, the world renowned Consulting Firm of Arthur Andersen, and more recently, with Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited, where he held different management positions, including Legal Adviser, Head, Land Acquisition and Claims, Head, Security Planning & Strategy, and Managing Counsel, Legislative Development. He currently engaged in Oil and Gas consulting as Managing Partner, BBH Consulting, based in Abuja with offices and partners in Lagos. He also engaged in active Legal Practice as Senior Partner, Energy, Oil and Gas with BBH Legal Practitioners, Abuja. He is also a Partner with P.H. Ogbole (SAN) & Co. He has been listed in Who is Who in the World since 1995 and Who is Who in Finance and Industry since 1997.
DR. ENGR. CYRIL O. U. AJAGU
Dr. Engr. Cyril Ajagu studied and qualified as an Engineer with B. (Tech) in Mining Engineering, holds a Masters Degree in Innovation Technology and (Dr. Sc. Hon) in Business Management and Corporate Governance from European-American University and also, Doctorate Degree in Business Admin. from Swiss Business School (SBS) Switzerland.
He is a member of the society of Petroleum Engineers and has worked for seventeen years in the Oil and Gas Industry such as Mobil Nigeria and Overseas (North Sea). Schlumberger and Shell Petroleum Development Company (Nigeria) and International, before leaving the industry honourably for greener pastures.
Dr. Engr. Ajagu is a versatile, astute and well connected businessman and has business interests in almost all spheres of business areas for the upliftment of mankind.
Dr. Engr. Cyril Ajagu is endowed with exceptional wisdom and knowledge which has made him to be in the fore front of so many companies within and outside Nigeria. ANDY CHUKWUEMEKA IGBOEKWE, SAN
Andy Chukwuemeka Igboekwe, SAN was born on 24th September, 1965. For his primary school education, he attended St. Patricks Catholic Primary School, Yaba, Lagos. In 1977, he obtained the first primary school leaving certificate with distinction. Thereafter, he attended Federal Government College Kaduna where in the school certificate year (1982) he won several academic form prizes in various subjects including English literature, Economics and History. He obtained his first degree in law (LL.B) from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 1987.
A multiple academic prize winner, Andy Igboekwe won several academic prizes in the Faculty of Law including Faculty prizes for being the best student in Law of Banking and Insurance, Law of Taxation, Islamic Family Law e.t.c. He graduated with a second class honours upper division (i.e. 21) in 1987. He not only graduated top of his class but he was also the best all round graduating student in the entire faculty of law and therefore won the Dean of the Faculty of Law’s annual prize for the best all round graduating student in 1987.
Andy Igboekwe attended Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos where he passed the bar final exams in 1988 with second class honours upper division (i.e. 21). He was called to the Nigerian Bar on 3rd November, 1988. Immediately thereafter, he commenced legal practice in the Chambers of Chief Afe Babalola SAN in Ibadan. It was there he cut his legal teeth and developed a passion for advocacy. He later moved to Lagos and set up his own law firm Andy Igboekwe & Co. In 1993, Andy Igboekwe obtained a Masters degree in law (LL.M) from the University of Lagos. He was conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria on 19th September, 2016.
Andy Chukwuemeka Igboekwe sits on boards of various Companies both within Nigeria and Overseas. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). He is married and is blessed with children.
